Rhodes to run restaurants at London's Cumberland

London's Cumberland hotel has revived a deal with Restaurant Associates to base Gary Rhodes and his team at the hotel, with the celebrity chef managing its food and drink offering.

An agreement had been drawn up before the then owner of the Cumberland, Meridien, had its assets seized a year and a half ago. New owner Thistle Hotels has now resurrected the contract.

Thistle chief operating officer Beverly King said: "It will be Gary Rhodes in the kitchen. He will be based at the Cumberland, along with the majority of his team."
