Revpar slips by nearly 5% in London

London hotels saw revenue per available room (revpar) fall by 4.6% in the week ending 23 April, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.

Revpar fell to £82.55, down from £86.56 during the equivalent week last year.

Occupancy declined by 0.3 percentage points to 77.9% and average room rate slipped by 4.2% to £105.91, down from £110.61 in the corresponding week of 2005.
