Revpar drops by 1% at London hotels

London hotels saw revenue per available room (revpar) slip by 1% in the week ending 5 August, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.

Revpar decreased to £107.32, down from £108.40 during the equivalent week of 2006.

Although occupancy increased by 2.7 percentage points to 83%, average room rate dropped by 4.2 % to £129.37, compared with £134.99 in the corresponding week of 2006.
