Reece Collier appointed head pastry chef of Brown's hotel

Reece Collier has been appointed head pastry chef of Brown's hotel in Mayfair.

Collier, who competed in the first two seasons of Bake Off: Crème de la Crème (now Bake Off:The Professionals) series and reached the semi-final, joins from the Grove hotel in Hertfordshire.

He said: "As a born and bred Londoner, I am thrilled to have joined Brown's, the oldest hotel in the city, and their stunning English Tea Room where Queen Victoria loved to take afternoon tea.

"I have exceptionally exciting plans for Brown's and cannot wait to celebrate its history and esteemed guests through special menus and delicious creations."
