Stephanie White has been appointed marketing manager at the five-star, 80-bedroom Chester Grosvenor Hotel & Spa, Cheshire. She moves from marketing agency Monitor, where she was account director.

Mark Sands has been appointed manager of St David's Spa at the five-star, 132-bedroom St David's Hotel & Spa in Cardiff. He joins the Rocco Forte Hotels group from Wentworth Health Club & Spa, Surrey, where he was deputy health club & spa manager.

Darwen

Lee Darwen has been promoted to general manager of the 83-bedroom Holiday Inn Ellesmere Port-Cheshire Oaks hotel, Cheshire. He moves from his position as general manager of the 129-bedroom Holiday Inn in Preston, Lancashire.

Robert Eveleigh has been appointed director of sales, meetings and events at the 500-bedroom Radisson SAS London Stansted Airport hotel. He moves from Thistle Hotels, where he was account director, meetings and events.

Jonathan King is the new general manager of the 129-bedroom Holiday Inn Preston, Lancashire. Prior to his appointment he was general manager of the 123-bedroom Holiday Inn Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. Alexander Ryll has been appointed global sales manager, UK & Ireland, of Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts. He previously worked for SRS-Worldhotels, where he was sales and marketing manager UK & Ireland. ### Restaurants Laura Smith has been appointed head chef at the Sloop Inn, Scaynes Hill in West Sussex. She was previously a joint-partner in outside caterer Manna from Heaven, which was sold. Laurence Everest has been appointed sous chef at the Sloop Inn, Scaynes Hill in West Sussex. Judith Donovan has been appointed chairman of the Yorkshire Tourist Board.
