Pentahotels appoints two new general managers

German hotel group Pentahotels has appointed two new general managers to help continue the brand's expansion in the UK.

Nicola Crowley (below, right) is the new general manager at the Penta Warrington, and Daniel Hawkie (below, left) is now general manager of Penta Ipswich.

Existing employee Ben Thomas has been promoted from general manager at Penta Birmingham, and is now cluster general manager in Birmingham and Derby.

Crowley joins the Pentahotels after working for InterContinental Hotels, within their Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn brands.

Hawkie's career has spanned roles at Ramada and De Vere Village Urban resorts. He was previously general manager of the Kew Green Hotels group before joining Pentahotels.

Originally German-based, Pentahotels now has 25 properties across Europe and Asia, with six in the UK. It aims to provide a design-led, stylish and contemporary environment, and is currently aiming to open eight more sites before the end of 2015. It hopes to have 80 hotels globally by 2020.
