The InterContinental Hotels Group has taken over the operation of the Crowne Plaza Porto in Portugal as part of a deal with Hotelgal SA, a subsidiary of Global Hotels & Resorts. The hotel, located in Porto's business district, has been refurbished and reopened recently.
