Norwich couple snap up seafront hotel in Great Yarmouth

The Haven hotel, a three-storey Victorian townhouse on the seafront in Great Yarmouth, has been bought by Elly Koopman and Rob Farrow who previously worked for a soft drinks firm in Norwich.

The hotel, which trades all year round, is on Marine Parade at the north end of the Golden Mile and opposite Britannia Pier.

It provides eight en-suite bedrooms across the first and second floors, a bar, a dry lounge, two-bedroom owners' accommodation, and a laundry room housed in an covered rear courtyard.

The 30-seat restaurant in the basement has its own dance floor and so doubles as an entertainment room.

The Ipswich office of Christie + Co sold the freehold of a guide price of £275,000 on behalf of Dan and Jessica Chen
