Newly-weds buy Norfolk guesthouse

Newly-weds Jerry and Elaine Hanley have bought the six-bedroom Pentland Lodge guesthouse in the coastal village of Sheringham in Norfolk.

The couple from Hemsby in Norfolk tied the knot just 10 days before completing the sale of the four-diamond hotel, which is one of the few in the area to offer mostly family rooms.

The two-storey chalet bungalow has four family bedrooms, along with a double and a single bedroom, and a conservatory to the rear that is used as a breakfast room for 16 diners.

There is also owners' accommodation made up of two bedrooms, an office, a reading room, a shower room/WC along with a paved rear garden with a small conservatoryh and an elevated patio.

The Ipswich office of Christie + Co sold the freehold off a guide price of £395,000 on behalf of David and Penny Miles.
