New owners sought for Salisbury B+B after 20 years

The chance has come up to buy a lifestyle, family-run B+B business in the cathedral city of Salisbury.

Cricket Field House hotel was created by the current owners 20 years ago from a 19th century game keepers' cottage on the western fringes of the city. It is within easy reach of attractions such as Stonehenge, Bath and Winchester.

The hotel, which holds a four RAC-diamond rating, offers 14 en-suite bedrooms, along with four-bedroom owners' accommodation (all en-suite) and a self-contained two-bedroom apartment.

The award-winning conference facility can hold up to 25 delegates and the business has planning permission to build a 60-seat restaurant within the grounds.

The large garden, which looks out over the village church and the South Wiltshire Cricket Ground, incorporates two water features and several seating areas.

The Southampton hotels department of Knight Frank is seeking offers in the region of £1.65m for the freehold.
