New owners for Ayr hotel

The three-star Arrandale hotel in Ayr has been sold off a guide price of £475,000.

The hotel in the heart of ‘Burns' country is located in Cassillis Street in a conservation area near the town centre and the sea front.

Facilities include nine individually-furnished en-suite bedrooms named after West Coast islands, a guest lounge, a lounge-bar and a 20-seat dining room that doubles as a meetings, functions and dinner parties venue.

There is also two-bedroom owners' accommodation and outside seating and patio areas.

The Glasgow office of Christie + Co sold the freehold on behalf of Neil and Alison Ferguson to Ian and Linda Eadie.
