In the heart of Singapore's Chinese district, former tourism entrepreneur of the year and founder of iconic hotel 1929, Loh Lik Peng, has created a new, chic boutique hotel with the help of five of Singapore's most prominent creative talents.

Facilities: The guest rooms blend historic and modern designs, including free-standing copper bathtubs. Some rooms feature floor-to-ceiling mirrors, while others are attic-style with an upstairs sleeping area. Some have aquarium-style see-through bathrooms as their centrepiece. The elegant, contemporary Chinese restaurant seats 100 and serves Cantonese cuisine in a Western style.
