New GM for London Marriott Hotel Park Lane

Nicolas Kipper has been appointed general manager of the 157-bedroom London Marriott Hotel Park Lane, after moving from his previous role in Moscow.

He will oversee the hotel's current major renovation project being undertaken by RPW Design, involving all bedrooms and public areas, which is due to be completed by June 2015.

Originally from France and a graduate in hotel administration from the University and Hotel School of Strasbourg, Kipper spent seven years as general manager of the Marriott Moscow Grand.

Kipper, who joined Marriott International in 2004 as a director of operations, said he was "honoured" to be taking on his new role at such an integral time for the hotel.

"I join a committed team of experts that dedicate themselves to guests and provide an un-paralleled service and charm. I am now able to explore a new venture in London, a city full of energy and excitement, whilst staying within the Marriott family."
