New general manager appointed at Hilton Terminal 5
The 350-bedroom Hilton London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 has appointed Meredith Bevan as its new general manager.
Bevan, who will join the hotel this month from the same role at the Hilton London Paddington, has spent 18 of his 26 years in the hospitality industry working for hotels within Hilton Worldwide.
He has held general manager positions at Hilton properties in Bath, Bristol, Newport and London, and is an ambassador for the company having being named Director of Operations of the Year 2012 in the Hilton WorldWide awards.
In his new role, Bevan will manage more than 200 staff, as well as build on the hotel's national and international markets, particularly given the hotel's location.
Bevan said: "Hilton London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 is a fantastic hotel with a superb team, which I am very much looking forward to joining and developing even further. My goal is to ensure the hotel is front of mind for excellent service and hospitality for dining, meeting and sleeping as well as for relaxing in the spa for all our local, national and international visitors."
The Hilton London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5, which opened in August 2011, is managed by Hospitality Management International on behalf of Shiva Hotels, the owner of the property.
