New boutique holiday village to launch in Devon
A £60m holiday development is set to open near Totnes, Devon in February next year.
The 230-bedroom Beyond Escapes Devon - owned by Ryedale Leisure - will be the first of several sites to launch over the next five years.
The self-catering development will include boutique rooms in the one bed Be Chic Studios and Little Lodges to Mansion Suites and four-bedroom Be Deluxe Lakeside Villas.
The on-site 100-cover Be Tempted restaurant will offer an à la carte menu throughout the day. It will be heavily influenced by its coastal location, with locally sourced seafood and other fresh produce being used in dishes.
A Be You Spa and Gym will also be located on-site with a sauna, steam room, heated foot spas, monsoon showers and an outside terrace with vitality pool. It has partnered with skincare brands Elemis and Ishga to offer naturally sourced, organic treatments to guests.
Jason Bruton, managing director at Beyond Escapes, said: "At Beyond Escapes we wanted to create a space that is different to everything else that already exists in the staycation market, a place that caters for all and which offers a quality holiday experience that goes above and beyond what people expect.
"Each of our experiences will be unique in their own way, working in harmony with their surroundings, championing local produce and offering activities in keeping with the locality. That combined with Beyond Escape's high-end, boutique style accommodation and top-quality facilities, allow both overnight guests and day visitors to be whatever they want to be."
