Neil Morrissey set to open third hotel next year

Men Behaving Badly star Neil Morrissey is to open a third hotel as part of his group's ambitious expansion plans, Caterer can exclusively reveal.

Morrissey will spend £7.5m developing the Mill near Letchworth in Hertfordshire into a 24-suite property with his Hurst House business partner, Matt Roberts. It will have a 100-seat restaurant, spa and fitness centre, and will open next year.

The Hurst House group plans to roll out the brand in the UK and Europe with five new properties over four years, as well as creating a second private members' club in Edinburgh, due to open next year.

The group owns the Hurst House private members' club in London's Covent Garden and Brown's hotel in Laugharne, west Wales. It also owns the Three Mariners pub in the same town.
