Narbeth Grove hotel team to open Coast restaurant

The team behind boutique hotel the Grove, in Narbeth, Wales, has revealed plans to open a new seafront restaurant.

Neil Kedward and Zoe Agar will open the operation, aptly named Coast, on a beach-side site at Coppet Hall near Saundersfoot, this spring.

The restaurant will serve a menu dominated by "top-class seafood and meat", sourced locally sourced wherever possible.

It will seat 60 in the dining room and a further 80 guests on a front terrace that is currently under construction. A small café bar inside will seat 12.

Commenting on the new venture, Swansea-born owner Kedward told www.walesonline.co.uk that he and Agar are "hugely excited" by the new project.

"The venue will a offer a unique food experience focused on fabulous Pembrokeshire produce together with unrivalled beach views," he said.

Many of the 20 to 25 staff members already recruited are local, but an experienced chef is still being sought.
