Morag Stark appointed GM of Malmaison Aberdeen

Morag Stark has been appointed general manager of the 79-bedroom Malmaison Aberdeen hotel.

She replaces Benjamin Bel, who recently took over the role of general manager at the Hotel du Vin Edinburgh.

Stark joins from the Hallmark hotel at Aberdeen Airport, where she had been general manager since 2016, having previously been general manager of Thainstone House in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, and resort general manager of the Macdonald Forest Hills hotel in Kinlochard, Aberfoyle.

She said: "It's a personal joy for me to be joining the team here, and I look forward to meeting our guests and building on the success of the hotel."

Scott Harper, chief operating officer of Malmaison, said: "We are confident that Morag will deploy her extensive knowledge to ensure that every visitor receives an extraordinary experience from the entire team at Malmaison Aberdeen."
