Mayfair hotel Flemings appoints new general manager

Mayfair hotel Flemings has appointed Oliver Brown as its new general manager.

Brown, a former Acorn Award winner, joins the property from his most recent position as food and beverage director at Jumeirah Carlton Tower.

His 20 years' hospitality industry experience also includes managerial roles at Hilton and the Eton Collection.

During his time at Jumeirah Carlton Tower, Brown was involved in the refurbishment and launch of the Rib Room bar & restaurant.

Commenting on his role, Brown said: "I'm delighted to take up this position. Flemings offers visitors the best in a boutique hotel experience; Mayfair location, personalised service and distinctive style. I'm very much looking forward to becoming part of the team."
