Maidstone couple buy Folkestone guesthouse

First-time buyers from Maidstone have snapped up the Kentmere Guest House, which sits on one of the main roads into Folkestone in Kent.

The guesthouse, which has an ETC three-diamond rating, is the end property in a row of three period properties.

It incorporates seven bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms, a 14-seat dining room with bay windows, and gardens to the front and the rear.

New owners Russell Brown and his wife from Maidstone, who are first-time buyers, bought the freehold off an asking price of £420,000.

The sale was handled by the Maidstone office of Christie & Co on behalf of Terry Fulton, who is buying another guesthouse in Canterbury through Christie & Co.
