Lucknam Park wins highest scoring accolade at Hospitality Assured Awards
On-going improvements and consistently high service standards have earned Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa the highest scoring organisation accolade at the Hospitality Assured Awards 2013.
Claire Randall, managing director of the five-star, 42-bedroom hotel, collected the award at the Institute of Hospitality's annual lunch at the Lancaster London hotel, earlier today.
Lucknam Park was praised for recent developments including the introduction of a new kitchen vegetable garden, spa treatments and revised brasserie and breakfast menus.
The assessors were particularly impressed by the guest focus, positive atmosphere and commitment to all areas they visited, which was enhanced by a strong ethos of team work throughout the hotel and a highly effective management structure.
A total of five awards were presented, all which celebrate the achievements of customers of Hospitality Assured, which is the quality standard created by the Institute of Hospitality for customer facing businesses.
This year's awards were judged by Ufi Ibrahim, chief executive of the British Hospitality Association; Andrew Lockwood, associate dean and Forte professor of hospitality management at the University of Surrey; and Peter Ducker, chief executive of the Institute of Hospitality.
