London's most expensive full English hotel breakfast is nearly £40
The average cost of a full English breakfast in London's top hotels is £27, according to research by mobile application Blink Booking.
The Jumeriah Carlton Tower serves up the capital's priciest sausage, eggs and bacon at £39 per head, while the least expensive of the 50 hotels surveyed was the Levin, hotel which serves a full English for £9.95 - nearly £6 cheaper than its nearest rival, the Baglioni (£16).
After the Jumeriah Carlton Tower, London's top-priced breakfasts can be found at the Dorchester (£36), the Ritz (£35), the Berkeley (£34) and the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park (£32).
Mark Datta, managing director of Blink Booking UK, said: "While many might expect to pay a premium to eat in London's top hotels, the results of the breakfast research still shocked us a bit. Thirty-nine pounds is a hefty price to pay to start your day, especially when you consider that many of Blink Bookings last-minute hotel deals will give you a night in a top-quality hotel for the price of breakfast for two at some of these hotels."
Blink Booking selected properties for its survey from The AA Best Hotel Guide‘s Top 50 London Hotels.
