London revpar rises by nearly 10%
London hotels saw revenue per available room (revpar) grow by 9.9% in the week ending 10 June, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.
Revpar increased to £120.26, up from £109.41 during the equivalent week of 2006.
Occupancy nudged ahead by 0.5 percentage points to 83.5% while average room rate rose by 9.2% to £144.07, compared with £131.88 in the corresponding week of 2006.
