London hotels boost weekly revpar by 21%
London hotels saw revenue per available room (revpar) soar by 21% in the week ending 8 July, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.
Revpar increased to £138.83, up from £114.73 during the equivalent week of 2006.
Occupancy rose by 2.6 percentage points to 89.5% while average room rate grew by 17.6% to £155.06, compared with £131.90 in the corresponding week of 2006.
