Leela Group promotes Rajiv Kaul to president

Leela Palaces, Hotels & Resorts has appointed Rajiv Kaul as president of the Leela Group. In his new role, Kaul will be responsible for the launches of hotels in New Delhi this year and Chennai in 2011.

Kaul began his career in the hospitality industry with the Oberoi Hotels and Resorts in 1978, finally becoming vice president of Oberoi Hotels Egypt. He then moved to Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces where he was vice president of Taj Mumbai Hotels, and general manager of the Taj Mahal Palace & Tower.
