Langham London appoints new hotel manager

The Langham, London has appointed Jane Lyons as hotel manager.

A seasoned hotelier with over 20 years' experience, Lyons has been with Langham Hospitality Group for seven years, having returned after nearly three years as hotel manager of Langham Place New York, located on Fifth Avenue.

Prior to Langham Place, she was based at the Langham, London, for four years as executive assistant manager. Her previous tenures also include positions with Starwood Hotels and Resorts and the Savoy Hotel Group. She originally hails from Melbourne, Australia.

In her new role, Lyons will manage all facets of the hotel operation with direct management of the rooms, food & beverage, spa and security divisions. She will be overseeing the transition of the hotel as it adds to its current room product with the addition of 25 new suites and five residences, and the addition of a new restaurant/bar and spa concept early next year.

She said: "I am delighted to be back in London at our flagship property for the group. This is an exciting year for the Langham, London as we expand our products and services."
