Jumeirah to manage luxury apartments in London
The Jumeirah Group is to take over the management of what is set to become the largest luxury service accommodation in London, Grosvenor House Apartments.
Due to fully open in early 2012, Grosvenor House Apartments by Jumeirah Living on Park Lane will be part of the Jumeirah Living portfolio, the group's luxury brand of residences and serviced apartments. They will incorporate 133 apartments ranging from studios to five-bedroom penthouses and an all-day dining concept on the first floor atrium.
Owned by Park Lane Properties, the apartments were originally built in the 1920s and have undergone a complete internal rebuild and refurbishment.
The Jumeirah Group now operates three properties in London with the apartments sitting alongside two hotels, the Jumeirah Carlton Tower and the Jumeirah Lowndes.
The company's current expansion plans include the opening of the Jumeirah at Eithad Towers in Abu Dhabi this month and further hotel openings in the next few months in Majorca, Kuwait and the Maldives.
