Inverness couple buy Isle of Mull hotel

Kieron Perry and Jo Rowlands from Inverness are the new owners of the four-star Pennyghael hotel on the Isle of Mull.

The hotel has been created from a traditional West Highland farmhouse, with the main parts of the building dating back to the 18th century.

Renowned for its homely hospitality and good food, the hotel offers six en-suite bedrooms, three self-catering cottages (two with two bedrooms and the third with three), a dining area, bar and residents' sitting room.

The Glasgow office of Christie + Co sold the freehold off a £450,000 guide price on behalf of Norman and Jane Latimer while Christie Finance provided the funding.
