Hotel in Devon's Taw Valley sold off £1.5m asking price

The Fox and Hounds Country Hotel in Eggesford, Devon, has been sold off a £1.5m guide price through the Exeter office of Christie + Co.

It offers 16 individually-furnished luxury bedrooms, a 60-seat bar/restaurant with an open fireplace, a main restaurant and function room that can cater for up to 140 guests and opens onto the sun terrace, and a lower bar and function room to accommodate up to 40 customers.

The spacious grounds include a lawned area used for erecting marquees to cater for large functions and weddings and a large car park to the front.

New owners Nick and Tara Culverhouse plan to develop fishing side of business and enhance the dining experience
