Homewood Park appoints Scott Galloway as head chef
The four-AA-star, 21-bedroom Homewood Park Hotel & Spa, near Bath, has appointed Scott Galloway as head chef.
Galloway, who recently worked at Tracy Park hotel, also near Bath, has replaced Simon Addison, who has been appointed head chef of the Dining Room at Chewton Glen in New Milton, Hampshire.
His experience includes a mix of fine and gastro pub dining at the Royal Crescent hotel in Bath, the Chequers in Bath, Lower Slaughter Manor in Gloucestershire, and Toravaig House hotel on the Isle of Skye.
Galloway said: "I'm excited to create new menus using my experience of the two and creating a whole new modern style of British fine dining."
Homewood Park is one of three hotels, alongside Bishopstrow House & Spa and the Bath Arms at Longleat, which operate under Longleat Group Hotels, owned by the theme park owner, Longleat Enterprises. The hotel was acquired in 2011 out of the administration of Von Essen hotels.
