Hilton appoints Radisson Edwardian Hotels man to support UK and Ireland development

Hilton UK and Ireland has poached Nick Smart from Radisson Edwardian Hotels.

Smart, who starts his new role as vice-president of development for the region in November, had been commercial development director at Radisson since 2000.

The new starter will work with Andy Potter, who has moved over to Hilton from the LivingWell gym business, as development director for the UK.

Hilton has recently announced new hotel deals in Reading, Berkshire, and London's Wembley, as well as two Irish properties in Limerick and Dublin Kilmainham.
