Goadsby nets more than £1m for two Bournemouth hotels

Property agent Goadsby and Harding Commercial has sold two hotels in Bournemouth with a combined sales tag in excess of £1.1m.

It has sold the Fiveways hotel in the Boscombe area to first-time hoteliers Mark Cribb and Fiona Pulley for close to the asking price of £550,000.

The 15-bedroom property also traded as a steakhouse to the public in the 1980s and the new owners plan to transform it over the next three years into a boutique hotel and bistro.

The couple have renamed the property the Urban Beach hotel and hope to open a new outside dining area by Easter.

Goadsby has also sold the Rylstone hotel on Bournemouth's West Cliff to local hotelier Paul Morgan on behalf of the Aaron House Hotel Group.

Morgan paid a sum close to the £595,000 asking price for the 17-bedroom property, which includes a three-bedroom owners' accommodation and now has a full licence for the first time.
