Gleddoch House hotel up for sale for around £2.5m
The four-AA-star, 69-bedroom Gleddoch House hotel & golf course, near Glasgow, has been put on the market for around £2.5m.
Located within a 270-acre estate in Langbank, Renfrewshire, the hotel - once the family home of Clydeside shipping baron Sir William Lithgow - has been operated by Bespoke Hotels on behalf of its current owner, property company Mineflow Investments, since 2005.
Mineflow has decided to sell now to concentrate on its other business investments.
The property, which was built in the 1920s, has a spa, gym, indoor swimming pool and 18-hole golf course, alongside a restaurant and bar. It overlooks the River Clyde, with views of Ben Lomond and the Renfrewshire Hills.
Alistair Letham, a director with the selling agent Colliers International, said: "Gleddoch House hotel and golf course has everything to offer, not only to the leisure market but also corporate and local customers. The mix of facilities available at the hotel ensures it is of wide appeal, making this a highly attractive leisure business."
