Gary Goldie leaves Ardanaiseig after 15 years

Gary Goldie, former Scottish Chef of the Year, has left Ardanaiseig on the shores of Loch Awe in Scotland after 15 years at the hotel's restaurant.

Goldie, renowned for incorporating foraged ingredients in his menus, has decided to pursue his own venture and is currently abroad undertaking a series of stages at various restaurants.

Ardanaiseig's sous chef Cornel Uys steps up to replace Goldie as chef de cuisine.

Goldie won the title of Scotland's Chef of the Year at the Scottish Hotel Awards in 2011. He is a former Medaille D'Or winner and won three AA rosettes at Ardanaiseig.
