Fitzpatrick Castle hotel scoops Irish hotel manager award
General manager Nicky Logue has scooped the award for Hotel Manager of the Year 2006 by the Irish Hospitality Institute (IHI).
The award, presided over by IHI president Douglas Jordan, was presented to the general manager of the four-star Fitzpatrick's Castle hotel in Killiney at the Four Season's hotel in Dublin over the weekend.
Other awards at the ceremony were given to:
Robert Bell, executive chef at the Galway Bay Hotel, who was named catering manager of the year.
Triona Brangan, human resources and training manager at the Mount Juliet Conrad, who won the Human Resources Manager of the Year award.
Eilean Hynes, assistant manager at Kelly's Resort Hotel, Rosslare in Co Wexford who was awarded Young Manager of the Year.
Josephine Matthews, receptionist at the Gresham Metropole hotel in Cork who was named Graduate Manager of the Year.
