Fairmont appoints marketing head
Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has appointed Julian Haddon as regional sales and marketing director.
Haddon, who will be based in Fairmont's London global sales office, has been working at the company since 2005 when he joined The Savoy](The Savoy), London as sales and marketing director.
In his new position he will continue his responsibilities at The Savoy and will also overlook marketing activities for St Andrews Bay Golf Resort & Spa, Scotland, Fairmont Monte Carlo, Monaco, Raffles Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten in Hamburg, Germany and Raffles Le Montreux Palace in Switzerland.
Haddon's career spans more than 15 years during which he held a number of senior sales and marketing roles at international leisure companies including Teledex LLC, where he was director of sales covering Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Previously Haddon worked at Forte and Le Meridien as vice-president of sales and marketing of Grosvenor House and Forte Exclusive London, as well as at the InterContinental London, where he was sales and marketing director.
