Euro Hostel group plans expansion
Scottish budget hotel company Euro Hostel is planning to open new premises in at least six UK cities.
The company, which targets young backbackers, turned over £2m last year and is looking to expand.
William McClelland, operations director of Euro Hostel said the company was "actively seeking property in all major cities."
Euro Hostel, which is backed by a board of Scottish businessmen and is chaired by Andrew Salvesen, has a 364-bedroom property in Glasgow and takes over student halls of residence during the summer in Newcastle and Edinburgh.
After achieving 76% occupancy for the year in Glasgow, the company is targeting Leeds, Liverpool, Bristol, Brighton and London.
