Electronic customer satisfaction system from Long Range Systems

Paging specialist Long Range Systems has designed an electronic customer satisfaction system built into a tip-tray so that restaurant operators can get instant feedback from their guests. Handed to clients with the bill at the end of the meal, the electronic comment card can be programmed with questions such as "How would you rate your meal?" or "Would you visit us again?" This information is transferred to a secure database once the trays are back in their docking stations, enabling operators to quickly build up a picture of the level of customer satisfaction.

The trays can also be integrated with a paging system so that the manager is alerted immediately should a customer register a negative response, enabling them to go straight to the table and hopefully appease the dissatisfied guest.

Price: £995 for five trays, plus an ongoing £40-a-month data handling fee Available from: Long Range Systems 01782 537 000
