DoubleTree by Hilton Woking opens

DoubleTree by Hilton Woking has opened following a multi-million pound refurbishment and rebranding from a Holiday Inn.

The 170-bedroom hotel will operate under a franchise agreement between the owner Crimson Hotels and Hilton Worldwide.

John Greenleaf, global head, DoubleTree by Hilton, said: "With nearly 30 DoubleTree by Hilton properties in the UK and Ireland, and six more in the pipeline, DoubleTree by Hilton is providing a warm welcome to guests throughout the region, starting with our signature chocolate chip cookie at check-in.

"We are thrilled to bring our care-focused culture to guests in Woking, whether they're traveling for business or leisure, providing them with exceptional service in an area rich with local cultural attractions and outdoor activities in the surrounding countryside."

Peadar McFadden, general manager, DoubleTree by Hilton Woking, added: "We look forward to welcoming businesses choosing to use the fantastic conference and events facilities we offer, as we make their teams and clients feel at home at our hotel. We are excited to support local food producers and our local community at our fantastic Wocca Grill restaurant and stylish new Bar 92."

Founded in 1995, Crimson Hotels owns and manages 13 hotels in the UK, Portugal and Dubai. Its seven hotels in the UK are managed under a variety of brands from Hilton Worldwide, InterContinental Hotels Group, AccorHotels and Choice Hotels.
