Dominvs Hospitality to re-brand Dumfries hotel to a Holiday Inn
Dominvs Hospitality is re-branding its 71-bedroom Aston Hotel Dumfries to a Holiday Inn property.
The hotel will be the second Holiday Inn branded hotel in the Dominvs Hospitality portfolio, highlighting the group's strategy as it expands into the regional hospitality sector. It will be operated by the Dominvs Hospitality under a franchise agreement with InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG).
Robin Thomson, general manager of Aston Hotel Dumfries, said: "We are extremely excited with the decision to re-brand the hotel. The Holiday Inn brand will complement our hotel design, service offering and leading location within the Dumfries & Galloway region."
Located in the heart of Dumfries city centre close to Caerlaverock Castle, the newly refurbished Holiday Inn will be complemented by a new look Marco Pierre White Wheeler's of St. James's restaurant and lobby lounge.

Dominvs Hospitality, a subsidiary of the Dominvs Group which was launched in 2011, currently has three hotels with two more under development in Manchester and Aberdeen.
Holiday Inn has a portfolio of 1,500 hotels worldwide.
