Dominvs Group plans to expand newly acquired Arbor City hotel

The 115-bedroom Arbor City hotel in London is to be rebranded as a Hampton by Hilton property following its acquisition for an undisclosed sum by real estate and private equity company Dominvs Group.

The new owners will operate the hotel under a franchise agreement with Hilton and will now explore plans to expand the property, including the addition of 150 bedrooms on an adjacent car park to the rear of the property. Arbor City is located in Whitechapel, close to Aldgate East tube station.

Sean Brookes, chief operating officer of Dominvs Group, said: "This deal represented a great opportunity to acquire an established hotel in a key location to add to our growing UK-wide hotel portfolio. With an extension of the property planned, this will more than double the current room inventory, adding to a portfolio of more than 2,000 hotel rooms in London and the regions."
