David Moore attacks Revenue's attitude towards industry

London restaurateur David Moore has condemned HM Revenue and Custom's (HMRC) hardline attack on restaurant troncs which it now admits was based on a misreading of the law.

Moore argued that the Revenue should visit restaurants on a friendly "let's get it right basis" to prevent problems rather than just storming in to find them.
