Crerar adds seventh property to hotel stable

Hotel company Crerar has acquired its seventh property.

Crerar Hotels has paid £5.5m for the 49-bedroom Chevin Country Park hotel at Otley, West Yorkshire, which is located at a lake site in 44-acres of woodland.

The company has planning approval for a lakeside extension to the three-star rated property and has plans to enlarge the existing leisure club to add a spa.

Crerar is a division of North British Trust Group.
