Couple from County Durham buy Cumbrian hotel

First-time buyers Alan and Louise Dinnes from County Durham have bought the Black Swan hotel in Cumbria.

The detached Victorian hotel and inn sits in the heart of the conservation village of Ravenstonedale in the Eden Valley and is well located between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales.

The property has 13 en-suite bedrooms, a restaurant and private dining area that can seat a total of 36 guests, a 40-seat lounge bar, and a 30-seat locals bar.

The second floor serves as a five-room owners' accommodation.

The Bournemouth office of Forum Business Sales sold the Black Swan for in excess of £550,000 on behalf of the Murphy family.
