Campbell Gray hotels scoops hat trick of awards
Campbell Gray hotels has scooped a hat-trick of awards at the annual Leading Hotels of the World conference in Barcelona.
The group's London hotel One Aldwych was named the Leading Small Hotels of the World "Best in Europe" , while the property in Antigua, Carlisle Bay, won Leading Small Hotels of the World "Best in Mexico, Caribbean and South America".
One Aldwych was also awarded the "Commitment to Excellence in the Community for Charity and Environmental Work" accolade for its charity work and sustainable tourism.
Gordon Campbell Gray said: "We have created a hotel that really works on a service level which is due to the staff delivering it day in, day out. What's lovely is even as we are expanding the company, we can still maintain our standards at our original properties."
The engagement in the community award is also a great recognition of our work with sustainable tourism and various charities which was lovely.
The group has returned to work on its next project in Lebanon and is still on schedule to open next September, although Campbell Gray warned the next two months would be crucial.
He added: "I can't wait for it to open, it's the sexiest project to date."
