Caledonian hotel in Oban on the market for £1.2m

The 59-bedroom Caledonian hotel in the Scottish town of Oban has been put up for sale with a guide price of £1.2m.

Located close to the main railway station and the ferry terminal, the property features a bar, lounge and restaurant.

It is being sold by its investment owners and the sale is being handled by Colliers International.

Alistair Letham, a director at Colliers International, said: "The Caledonian hotel has a great location in the centre of Oban, which itself is a perennially popular leisure destination.

"While the business is already well established, with a good turnover, undoubtedly there is opportunity for new owners, skilled in operating a locally based leisure destination, to develop the Caledonian and further increase its profitability."
