Bulgari to open London hotel

The New Bond Street store of Bulgari has confirmed that the Italian luxury good group will be opening a hotel in London, next year.

Although, the spokesperson for the company would not provide details, the hotel is set to open on the site of the former Normandie Hotel in Knightsbridge.

It will have 78 bedrooms, a restaurant, swimming pool and five apartments. Bulgari Hotels & Resorts already operates hotels in Milan and Bali, and a restaurant, café and chocolate shop in Tokyo.

Italian designer Antonio Citterio, who was responsible for the look of Hotel Bulgari in Milan, is expected to design the interior of the London property.
