Brooklands hotel motors onto the market
The newly built hotel which opened in the grounds of the historic Brooklands racing circuit in Weybridge, Surrey, three and a half years ago, has been put up for sale.
Owned by investor clients of property investment company Delancey, the 120-bedroom Brooklands hotel is situated adjacent to Mercedes-Benz World and Velocity, a 100,00sqft office development. Property agent Colliers International is seeking "substantial offers" for the property.
The hotel includes the 1907 restaurant bar and grill, nine conference rooms and a spa.
Julian Troup, head of UK hotels at Colliers International, said that the hotel in "a unique location" which is a prime business destination.
"I'm confident this amazing property will attract a considerable level of interest," he explained.
Brooklands generated a net turnover for the year to 31 March 2013 of approximately £7.3m, which is forecast to increase to £7.5m for the current financial year.
