Brighton sea-front hotel sells for in excess of £4.7m

The four-star Belgrave hotel on the Brighton sea front has been sold for more than £4.7m through property agent Colliers Robert Barry.

The 63-bedroom Victorian hotel, which underwent a substantial refurbishment five years ago, enjoys year-round business. Facilities include a 15-seat café, the 100-seat Cloisters restaurant and three function and conference suites that will respectively hold up to 50, 70 and 80 delegates theatre-style.

New owner Bond Street Estates, a London-based investment group, has appointed the Vienna Group to run the hotel.
