Bespoke Hotels takes over management of Worplesdon Place

Bespoke Hotels has taken over the management of Worplesdon Place in Guildford, Surrey.

The latest addition to the portfolio brings the total in the Bespoke Hotel group to 98.

Bespoke will be responsible for reinvigorating the business and refreshing the offer in the bar and restaurant.

Robin Sheppard, chairman at Bespoke Hotels, said: "As pubs all over the UK continue to close, we are focused on ensuring a great future for Worplesdon Place.

"Worplesdon has a good track record of being a great place to relax and get a good steak, whether just popping in, on business or a tourist, we want to build on that."

The hotel is an early 19th century manor house and is set in grounds with a large garden, a lake. It has 21 en-suite bedrooms and a honeymoon suite, as well as a grill restaurant, lounge and bar.
